About MAACA
Cricket That Creates Opportunities
The Melbourne All Abilities Cricket Association (MAACA) exists to ensure that people with an intellectual disability have the opportunity to play competitive, structured and meaningful cricket in Victoria.
Established in 2015 with the support of Cricket Victoria, MAACA oversees graded competitions delivered through affiliated clubs across metropolitan Melbourne and growing regional centres. We are a volunteer-led association committed to inclusion, fairness and long-term sustainability.
Our players are cricket fans. They want to train, compete, improve and represent their clubs — just like every other cricketer. MAACA ensures those opportunities exist in a safe, inclusive and professionally managed environment.

We create access, deliver structured competitions aligned to ability, and work closely with clubs, schools and cricket’s governing bodies to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.

Inclusive
Welcoming people of all abilities and providing genuine opportunities to participate and belong.
Community
Working together with clubs, partners and supporters to strengthen all abilities cricket across Victoria.

Integrity & Respect
Leading with fairness, respect and integrity on and off the field.
Participation & Pathways
MAACA provides a structured pathway that supports players at every stage of their cricket journey — from introductory participation programs through to senior divisional competition and State representation.
Our competition structure is designed to align with player ability, ensuring fairness, development and meaningful competition across all divisions.
Through strong partnerships with affiliated clubs and Cricket Victoria, MAACA players have progressed into the Victorian All Abilities Vikings squad and Australian representation pathways.
