On March 13th, the Grand Final Day of the MAACA Division 1 and 2 was hosted by Moorabbin CC at Moorleigh Reserve, East Bentleigh. Spectators and players were greeted with sunny conditions, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement for the games ahead. The Division 2 Grand Final saw Mount Waverley Uniting and Maiden Gully Marist competing in a shortened 20-over game, with Maiden Gully Marist managing 8/61(cc) and Mount Waverley Uniting winning with one wicket down. The Division 1 Grand Final featured Williamstown and Carrum Downs in a 30-over match, with Williamstown winning with a strong score of 2/186 and Carrum Downs finishing short on 7/119. The event showcased fantastic talent and displayed the spirit of cricket, making it a wonderful day for all who attended.
